سمكة الملاك متعددة الخطوط (Multibar Angel)

تُعرف أيضاً باسم سمكة الملاك عديدة الأشرطة (Many Banded Angelfish) أو سمكة الملاك متعددة الأشرطة (Multibarred Angelfish). تتميز بخطوط رأسية سوداء وصفراء متناوبة مع وجود شريط أبيض رفيع يحد كل خط أسود. الذيل أبيض إلى أصفر مع بقع سوداء صغيرة. يمكن تمييز اليافع منها بوجود بقعة عينية زرقاء في الجزء الخلفي من الزعنفة الظهرية.

بيئة الحوض المناسبة

تتطلب سمكة الملاك متعددة الخطوط حوضاً بسعة لا تقل عن 70 جالوناً مع الكثير من أماكن الاختباء والصخور الحيّة للرعي. من الأفضل الاحتفاظ بهذه السمكة كعضو وحيد من نوعها في الحوض.

السلوك والتكاثر

مثل غيرها من أسماك الملاك القزمية، هذه السمكة خنثى (هرمفروديتية)، يصعب تكاثرها في الأحواض، ولا يمكن تمييز الذكور عن الإناث من خلال اختلاف الألوان.

النظام الغذائي

قد تكون سمكة الملاك متعددة الخطوط صعبة الإرضاء في التغذية؛ فهي تفضل مجموعة متنوعة من الأطعمة اللحمية الصغيرة، ومستحضرات خاصة بأسماك الملاك ومستحضرات عشبية، بالإضافة إلى الإسفنج الحي. هذه العادات الغذائية وميولها إلى أن تصبح إقليمية بعض الشيء بعد التأقلم تجعلها من الأسماك التي يصعب الاحتفاظ بها.

The Multibar Angel, also known as the Many Banded Angelfish and Multibarred Angelfish, has individual black and yellow vertical bands arranged in an "every other" fashion, with a thin stripe of white bordering each black band. The tail is white to yellow with small black speckles. A juvenile can be distinguished by a blue eyespot at the back of the dorsal fin.

The Multibar Angel requires a minimum tank size of 70 gallons with plenty of hiding places and live rock for grazing. This angelfish is best kept as the only species member in a tank.

The Multibar Angel, like other dwarf angels, are hermaphroditic, difficult to breed, and indistinguishable in color variations from male to female.

The Multibar Angel can be a finicky eater; it prefers a variety of small meaty items, angelfish and herbivore preparations, and live sponges. These eating habits and the trait of becoming somewhat territorial upon acclimatization, make this a challenging fish to keep.
